Job Description:
Are you passionate about finance and accounting, and do you enjoy working in a dynamic, cross-functional environment? We’re looking for someone who can be Finance VP’s key resource and take ownership of developing and improving financial processes while ensuring everything runs smoothly.
Here’s what you’ll be doing:
- Act as the key resource and expert for regional business controllers, developing standardized processes and ensuring best practices are applied across regions.
- Ensure the quality and compliance of accounting and financial reporting for assigned Business Areas, including adherence to IFRS and local accounting standards.
- Provide guidance and support to Business Area controllers on financial operations, month-end and year-end processes.
- Ensure compliance with local tax and financial regulations in international locations.
- Serve as a key point of contact for auditors and group finance controllers.
We are looking for someone who:
- Has a minimum of 5 years of relevant education and experience in finance and accounting.
- Has extensive experience in developing and maintaining efficient financial processes.
- Thrives in a team setting and enjoys collaborating with colleagues from different departments.
- Is self-going and sees projects through to the end.
- Is fluent in English, both written and spoken, and comfortable working with financial tools like Excel and ERP systems.
- Experience in the Oil and Gas industry or international exposure is an advantage.
