Engineer Drilling & Subsea in Odfjell Technology Project & Engineering.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to provide excellent customer service
  • Deliver value, build relationships, and drive growth
  • Be involved in the promotion of the section to customers internally and externally
  • Contribute to attract and find new projects and assignments. Contribute to provide excellent customer service
  • Contribute to create a good working environment
  • Contribute to recommend improvements, as well as record discrepancies with suggestions for corrective measures
  • Work with management to develop own expertise

 

Knowledge, Skills & Qualifications:

  • Higher technical education as an engineer or equivalent. Long experience can compensate for a lack of theoretical education
  • Relevant experience from drilling operation an advantage – but not requirement.
  • Knowledge of drilling equipment and systems within the area of responsibility
  • Knowledge with relevant engineering standards, best practices, rules and regulations relevant to the maritime, energy/oil and gas industry
  • Good English communication skills, both oral and written
  • Sufficient computer skills

Competencies:

  • Within mechanics and hydraulics
  • Within drilling / drilling operations
  • Maintenance of drilling equipment
  • Maintenance of subsea equipment
