We are now looking for a Product Line Manager for our TRS segment. The ideal candidate is based in either Norway or UK.
Role Purpose:
The Well Services division of Odfjell Technology is a market leader in remote hands-free Tubular Running Services. We are committed to everyday excellence through continuous improvement of competence, process and technology and have over 40 years of international experience, with an exceptional track record of safety, reliability and efficiency.
The Product Line Manager is a key role for the business, acting as a global focal point for the product line and ensuring we reach our potential and achieve our goals. Working with global support teams and across the Geomarkets to identify new technology and develop a road map for product development, in addition to supporting the development of new business and ensuring the successful execution of ongoing projects.
Key Responsibilities:
•Development of technical/commercial roadmap for growth of product line
•Specialist technical/commercial support to Geomarkets
•Own and manage equipment specifications, procedures, datasheets and IP related to the product line
•Asset portfolio management
•Facilitate a continuous improvement process for the product line by:
– Cooperation/experience transfer between business units
– Identify improvement potentials
– Initiate and follow up improvement projects
Knowledge, Skills & Qualifications:
•10 years relevant experience within the Product Line (PL)
•Proven expertise in the process and operations of offshore tubular and casing running
•Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of surface equipment design features and standards
•Hydraulic knowledge and basic understanding of electrical/electronic systems desirable
•Good commercial awareness and understanding of profit and loss
•Excellent understanding of the processes and procedures within the PL
Competencies
•Experienced, knowledgeable and with sufficient practical understanding to be credible to the line organization
•Personal Qualities:
– Good leadership skills
– Strong communication and excellent team skills
– Excellent English skills, written and oral
– Management experience is considered an advantage
