Odfjell Technology is a market leader committed to expanding and diversifying our product portfolio in line with our strategic growth objectives. We are currently seeking Innovation and Development Engineers to lead development projects from initial concept through to manufacturing. In this impactful role, you will collaborate closely with our operations teams and Product Line Managers to design and develop customized solutions. Your contributions will play a key role in driving our technological advancement and supporting our ongoing growth journey.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Creative mindset and problem-solving capabilities
  • Committed, positive & a valued team player
  • Track record and background in product design, preferably on downhole tools related to our current key product lines, Remedial and Abandonment (RnA) and Wellbore Cleanout (WBCU)
  • Experience in CFD, FEA analysis methods
  • Good understanding of relevant industry standards and operational practice
  • Ability and willingness to deliver projects all the way  from design concept phase, through prototype manufacturing and testing, and execution of pilot operation(s) in the filed with newly developed tools/solutions
  • Hands-on experience from tool assembling and testing
  • Willingness to be a role model and to mentor and develop others
  • University degree in relevant field is preferred

The main responsibilities of this position include:

  • Lead/Manage/be part of technical development projects from concept to execution of pilot (first-off) operations in the field
  • Lead/manage/be part of prototype equipment assembling and testing on assigned projects
  • Ensure effective and value adding communication with global teams and key accounts
  • Lead/manage/be part of equipment/solutions feasibility and/or feed studies
  • Oversea and maintain technical documentation
  • Work on continuous improvement in all parts of the value chain
