Modular Drilling & Workover Unit
We have a partnership to operate and manage the modular unit XRIG, which is a combined drilling and hydraulic workover rig.
Xrig is NORSOK certified modular drilling unit, approved for any on-/offshore operations. Currently Xrig is installed in a test facility in Ålgård Technology Park.
At the testing facility onshore, the unit has completed 137 successful full-scale tests and 2500 hours of operations and drilled 3 wells of 800 meter total length (in granite/ hard formation)
