What do we do in Logistics?
We are working globally and are present wherever the journey goes, either by personal presence or via one of our great local partners and representatives.
Our mission is to keep the operations running smoothly by ensuring that goods are available at the right place at the right time, no matter where you are. To do that, we are depending on close cooperation with our freight forwarder, our internal- and external supply base organizations and to keep our warehouses in good shape.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support internal customers in Odfjell Drilling and perform tasks in accordance with company requirements and procedures
- Establish and develop system and procedures for handling major spares /capital spares
- Optimize use of warehouse and external equipment storage
- Support inventory management, Supply Base operations, Warehouses
- Support and ensure alignment with OD’s strategic objectives
- Contribute to continuous improvement in the supply chains in operation
- Keep management informed of the status, plans, development and trends
- Have knowledge of the system applications that are used in the Company and ensure control improvement work related to these
- Supervise personnel hired or employed by OD for tasks/duties in the warehouse
- Responsible for the Customs Office and ensure that the customs accounting is kept updated
- Ensure that our packing routines are according to ON-091
- Ensure that the goods received is registered in Odfjell Drillings ERP systems
Knowledge, Skills & Qualifications:
- The role will require applicants to be educated to an Upper secondary school and a Certificate of apprenticeship
- Relevant experience may compensate for formal education
- Experience with onshore /offshore supply chain logistics
- Experience from modu onshore operations
- Good IT skills on ERP systems and Microsoft tools. Good knowledge of relevant regulations and guidelines
- Very good cooperation and communication skills and be able to work accurately and systematically
- Commercial mindset
- Availability to work independent
- Able to present OD and its product

- Relevant certificates: Forklift T2, T3, T4 & T8, Stroppekurs G11, Traverskran G11
