Manager Design & Integrity
We are seeking a experienced and motivated Manager Design & Integrity to lead and strengthen our engineering delivery capability across a portfolio of innovative offshore energy projects.
Odfjell Technology (OTL) is looking for a Manager with strong technical knowledge of offshore structures and/or topside systems.
You are analytical, systematic leader who builds strong teams, delivers high-quality and efficient solutions for clients, and takes an active role in developing existing and new client relationships.
Role purpose
You will lead and develop the Integrity department within OTL, with responsibility for its people, budget and results. The department provides design, analysis, integrity management and inspection scopes & services. As part of the management team, you will help shape the department’s direction and translate client needs into practical engineering solutions.
Key responsibilities
- Build, lead and develop a strong team, encouraging collaboration, technical excellence and professional growth.
- Ensure delivery of high-quality, efficient solutions that meet client requirements for safety, cost and schedule.
- Provide technical leadership in design and integrity work, drawing on a sound understanding of offshore structures and/or topside systems and their operation.
- Strengthen relationships with existing clients and develop new client opportunities in cooperation with Business Development and Sales.
- Contribute to proposals, tenders and framework agreements, including scopes of work, cost estimates and execution plans.
- Manage resources, budgets and performance, and follow up the department’s strategy and action plans.
- Develop and improve engineering methods, systems and procedures in accordance with applicable standards and regulations.
- Promote a strong QHSE culture and contribute actively to the Projects & Engineering management team.
Qualifications and Experience
- Higher technical education at BSc or MSc level, or equivalent.
- Management experience in a technical environment, with the ability to build and develop strong teams.
- Strong knowledge of offshore structures and/or topside systems, including design, fabrication and operational considerations.
- Experience with offshore engineering, integrity management and inspection projects.
- A multidisciplinary understanding of offshore or marine assets and the interfaces between structures, systems and operations.
- Knowledge of relevant standards, rules and regulations.
- Excellent written and spoken English and Norwegian.
