Role Purpose:
The Remedial & Abandonment (R&A) Supervisor Netherlands is responsible for leading and supporting operations within the Wellbore Clean-up department while working closely with R&A services product line, including Fishing, Milling, and Casing Exit services. The role combines operational leadership, technical expertise, and commercial awareness to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality service delivery in line with company standards and customer expectations.
The position acts as a key interface between field operations, clients, and internal stakeholders, supporting both operational execution and the development and growth of the product line within the region. The role reports to the Area Manager in the Netherlands and works in close collaboration with the global Product Line Management function.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and support operations within Wellbore clean-up department, including R&A services as Fishing, Milling, and Casing Exit activities
- Oversee field execution to ensure equipment, personnel, and operations meet company and client requirements
- Take accountability for operational performance including planning, execution, and post-job evaluation
- Support tender preparation and provide technical and operational input to commercial processes
- Maintain and develop strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and internal stakeholders
- Monitor and report on operational performance, cost, progress, and deviations
- Optimize equipment utilization and support efficient stock management
- Contribute to identifying growth opportunities and supporting the development of the product line in the region
- Drive continuous improvement in operational processes, procedures, and service quality
- Ensure compliance with QHSE standards, company procedures, and regulatory requirements
Knowledge, Skills & Qualifications:
- Relevant formal background (BSc level preferred) or extensive relevant experience within oil & gas operations
- Minimum 3 years’ experience within rig/service operations, including Wellbore Clean-up, Fishing, Remedial and P&A activities
- Strong technical knowledge of well intervention, downhole tools, and drilling-related equipment
- Experience in a supervisory or leadership role within field or operational environments
- Solid understanding of QHSE standards and operational risk management
- Commercial awareness with experience supporting tenders and client interaction
- Good command of English and Dutch, both written and spoken
- Live max 1 hour away from Coevorden, Netherlands
