Job Description
Role Purpose:
The Field Operator TRS – Service Technician is responsible for executing Tubular Running Services operations in accordance with customer requirements, company procedures, and QHSE standards. The role operates in the field and works closely with customers, rig crews, and Operations Supervisor TRS to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality service delivery. The position reports operationally to the Operations Supervisor TRS Rigsite and during operations to the customer’s drilling supervisor. This is a field-based role within Wellservices, involving shift work and assignments depending on operational requirements, Onshore-locations and or offshore-locations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in TRS operations including running and pulling of casing and tubing
- Ensure all equipment is prepared, tested, maintained, and fit for purpose according to procedures
- Execute Safe Job Analyses, Tool Box Talks, and safety checks with customers and OTL crew
- Ensure all activities are performed in compliance with HSE, quality, and operational requirements
- Complete, sign, and submit service orders, reports, and operational documentation
- Maintain order and cleanliness to ensure a safe and efficient workplace
- Build and promote a strong safety culture and continuous improvement mindset
- Contribute to excellent customer service and maintain strong client relationships
Knowledge, Skills & Qualifications:
- Mechanical craft certificate or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years’ experience as Service Technician within TRS
- Good written and verbal communication skills; working English required
- Computer literate and familiar with Microsoft Office applications
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
- Experience working in field-based or rig-site operations (preferred)
- Knowledge of HSE and QHSE systems within oil and gas operations (preferred)
