We are looking for someone who has

  • Has bachelor’s degree in in Computer Engineering or related field 
  • Has at least three (3) years’ experience in IT Service Desk. 
  • Has experience in Shared Services and Multicultural Environment is a preference but not required. 
  • Has proficient understanding of ITIL framework. 
  • Extensive operational knowledge of multiple operating systems and services not limited to Windows Desktop and Windows Server versions. 
  • In-depth Active Directory understanding of file permission troubleshooting. 
  • Detailed understanding of domain and workgroup architecture and support differences. (K5, RIG Domains, etc.) 
  • Knowledge and Understanding of the infrastructure. 
  • Familiar and understand the Group Policies and the roles they play within the Odfjell organization. 
  • Knowledge of support and administration on both on-prem and O365 Microsoft Office. 
  • Understanding of PowerShell and Batch Scripting. 
  • Awareness of cyber-security best practices and remediation activities. 
  • Understands the usage and technical familiarity on resolving the common company tools such as Citrix, eDOCS, MS365 and Engineering applications (Mathcad, AutoCAD, etc.) 
  • Has the ability to work independently as well as in team and collaborate in a matrix environment. 
  • Structured, accurate, systematic, result oriented and committed to deliver within deadlines. 
  • Ability to take initiative and make decisions. 
  • Has good English communication skills. 
  • Has strong customer service, problem solving and collaboration abilities. 
  • Ability and willingness to work in 24/7 operations, amenable to work onsite in Makati

Your Mission

  • Facilitate General IT and Desktop Support. 
  • Responsible in Asset and Governance management. 
  • Inform IT security threats and incidents to IT Head Office, and ensure that knowledge about threats and incidents are shared within IT. 
  • Continues awareness on IT Security threats and ensures that protocols are accorded related to it. 
  • Ensures compliance with company procedures within security and IT security, including internal IT guidelines. 
  • Responsible in diagnostics and resolve escalated issues and manage service desk cases.  
  • Responsible in audit, and validation of both Incident and Service request tickets. 
  • Analyse and identify the source of the problem and develop a solution that can be shared within the organization. 
  • Perform regular ticket reporting and identify issues that needs proactive solution. 
  • Responsible in Process improvements review, suggestion, and implementation. 
  • In charge in regular facilitation of trainings and webinars reacted to scope. 
  • Facilitate creation and update technical and end-user guides. 
  • Acts as secondary point of contact on escalations and technical consultations. 
  • Support in workforce management/schedule and task arrangements. 
  • Actively participate in regular business and technical discussions on project updates/ in resolving technical issues. 
  • Assist in coaching, and guiding IT Engineers on technical aspects of the job.  
  • Perform other related tasks that may be required from time to time.
