Technical Quality Advisor

We are seeking an experienced Technical Quality Advisor to support and enhance our quality assurance and control processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical systems and experience within the oilfield or related industries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) in line with ISO 9001 and API standards
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations, client requirements, and internal specifications
  • Lead audits and manage corrective and preventive actions
  • Collaborate with engineering on design quality, reviews, and risk assessments
  • Define and oversee inspection, testing, and acceptance criteria
  • Manage supplier qualification, audits, and performance
  • Review test results, address non-conformities, and drive improvements
  • Maintain quality documentation, records, and KPIs
  • Lead root cause analysis and support continuous improvement initiatives
  • Promote quality awareness and support internal training efforts

Knowledge, Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Quality Engineering, or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of QA/QC experience in oilfield tools, downhole tools, drilling equipment, or similar products
  • Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, API Q1/Q2, and relevant API standards
  • Experience with mechanical inspection tools, measurement systems, and NDT techniques
  • Proven ability to implement and maintain quality processes and procedures
