We are looking for TRS Roughnecks to join our growing team.
Job Summary
The primary responsibility of the role is to act as the TRS specialist and within the rig crew, ensuring that all required equipment for TRS operations is on board, function tested, and ready for use in advance of all planned TRS operations, and that all TRS operations are executed in a safe manner in accordance with company policies and procedures. The role will also function as an integrated part of the drilling crew, and at all times falls under the direction of the driller.
The main responsibilities of this position are detail below:
- Ensuring that all required equipment for TRS operations is on board, maintained, function tested (if possible), and ready for use
- Ensuring that all operations are executed in accordance with Odfjell procedures, including ensuring correct make up torques and qualify all graphs for every casing/tubing/screen running job done with computer when required
- Submitting daily Job Reports, logistic reports, Equipment Status reports, Fault Reports etc., as may be required by OWS procedures during the TRS activities
- Provide on-site training on the use of TRS services to other crewmembers
- Carry out all tasks requested by driller or tool pushers within the drilling module including maintenance during periods of non-Drilling activity
- Contribute if required in an emergency response team
- Participate in well control drills to provide the drilling team members practice of functioning the well control equipment to control abnormal well bore pressures.
The successful candidate must have the following:
- Trained TRS Technician/Supervisor with a minimum 3 years’ experience as an offshore TRS Service Supervisor
- Have extensive knowledge of casing running and P&A work and the equipment involved
- Previous experience in Roughnecking operations and duties not essential but preferred
- Hold the necessary certification to travel offshore
- The right to work in the UK
