We are seeking an Ad-Hoc TRS Supervisor/Roughneck to join our Well Services TRS team.

This is an ad-hoc role, meaning you will receive an annual salary, along with an additional offshore bonus for each day worked offshore. The position operates on a service availability basis, therefore there are no fixed rotas. Crew changes typically take place from Aberdeen or Norwich, although there may be occasional requirements to travel to other European locations.

In addition to covering TRS duties, there will be occasions where you are required to work offshore in a TRS Supervisor/Roughneck capacity. As such, roughnecking duties may form part of the role when operationally required. The successful candidate must have proven experience with TRS equipment and operations. While previous roughnecking experience is preferred but not essential, candidates must be willing and able to undertake roughnecking duties as required.

The primary responsibility of the role is to act as the TRS specialist, ensuring that all required equipment for TRS operations is on board, function tested, and ready for use in advance of all planned TRS operations, and that all TRS operations are executed in a safe manner in accordance with company policies and procedures.
 
Qualifications and or Experience

  • Extensive knowledge of TRS equipment and operations.

Duties / Tasks

  • Ensure all TRS equipment is maintained, tested, and operated according to company standards and procedures.
  • Supervise and coordinate TRS operations, including rigging up, running, and rigging down equipment.
  • TRS Supervisor is responsible for ensuring that all TRS operations are executed in accordance with company procedures, in particular L3-OWS-ALL-TRS-PR-013 (TRS Crew on Location) Ensure correct make-up torques and validate all graphs for each casing, tubing, or screen running job using computer software.
  • Maintain accurate records of equipment usage, maintenance, and job performance.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to TRS technicians and other team members.
  • Undertake roughneck duties where required.
  • Participate in emergency drills and safety checks.
  • Conduct pre-job meetings to discuss job expectations, safety protocols, and performance standards.
  • Monitor and enforce compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations.
  • Respond to well control situations and provide instructions to the team.
  • Communicate effectively with rig personnel, customers, and company management.
  • Promote continuous improvement in quality, safety, and operational efficiency.
