Accelerating our presence in Latin America – Odfjell Technology at ROG.e 2026
Latin America’s largest energy event is calling – and Odfjell Technology will be there. We’re heading to Rio de Janeiro to take part in ROG.e 2026, formerly Rio Oil and Gas, with the aim of showcasing our capabilities as an integrated offshore partner.
ROG.e marks a significant moment for a region where offshore activity continues to expand, and where operators are managing the same pressures we see across our global customer base: controlling operating cost, avoiding unplanned downtime, and meeting tightening regulatory expectations. And, of course, they need to do all of this while the energy ecosystem expands and transforms.
We’ll be showing operators and contractors what an integrated offshore partner looks like in practice – one company covering the well, the rig and the asset, rather than a set of separate contracts to manage.
RAZOR intervention on display
Visitors to our stand will see the RAZOR intervention range, shown earlier this year at ONS in Stavanger and brought to Rio for the first time. The tools came into the Odfjell Technology portfolio through our acquisition of RAZOR Oiltools:
RAZORCUT – tubing cutter for cutting tubing, casing and packers
RAZORDRILL – tubing puncher
RAZORRAM – stroker tool for fishing and valve manipulation
These are tools for the moments that lead to most cost – equipment stuck downhole, a well that will not give up its tubing, a valve that must be manipulated before anything else can happen. These are situations where every additional day is measured in rig rate.
Bringing these tools to Latin America reflects where we see demand growing across the region, particularly as more wells move into late life and intervention and abandonment work increases.
Offshore services across the asset lifecycle
Our offshore services extend beyond the well. With more than 50 years of experience in designing, building, operating and supporting offshore installations, we help customers manage performance across fixed installations, mobile offshore drilling units, offshore wind assets and floating production units.
Our core offshore services include engineering and advisory; modifications and upgrades; operational and regulatory support; and asset integrity and inspection. These capabilities can be delivered as focused scopes or combined into broader support that connects engineering insight with offshore execution.
Through Total Rig Support, customers can access practical expertise onshore and offshore, including compliance and safety case support, modifications and upgrades, asset inspection, integrity engineering, marine services, and special periodic surveys, renewals and reactivation. The aim is straightforward: keep operations moving, solve problems faster, and reduce downtime and risk.
Our offshore operational support also applies a continuous lifecycle approach to asset integrity: defining requirements, assessing condition, planning activity, inspecting equipment, and repairing or upgrading where needed. This gives customers a clearer route from engineering assessment to completed offshore work, with fewer interfaces and more predictable execution.
Well Services across the full well lifecycle
Well Services supports customers from well construction through intervention to decommissioning. Our structure brings together Well Management and Global Product Sales with a broad portfolio of Rig Solutions and Downhole Solutions.
The offering includes rig-less units, Tubular Running Services, rental handling equipment, wellbore cleaning, remedial and abandonment services, drilling tools and accessories, casing exit, casing while drilling and light intervention. Together, these capabilities support integrated planning, engineering and execution across the well lifecycle.
One partner, fewer interfaces
By bringing Well Services and offshore asset support together, Odfjell Technology can take accountability across scopes that might otherwise be divided among several suppliers. For customers, that means faster response, fewer interfaces to manage and a more coordinated approach to safe, efficient and predictable operations.
Meet the team in Rio
Brett Hrabovsky, Vice President – Well Services Americas, said: “Operators in this region are managing cost pressure, ageing wells and an energy transition at the same time, and most of them are doing it across several separate supplier contracts. What we want to show at ROG.e is what it looks like to hold one partner accountable across the well, the rig and the asset.
“Latin America is one of the most active offshore markets in the world, and Brazil is investing at scale and with pace. ROG.e is where important conversations about the region’s energy future happen, and we are bringing both our people and our technology to be part of them.”
ROG.e 2026 takes place at Riocentro, Rio de Janeiro, from 21–24 September, with organisers expecting more than 75,000 participants and over 650 exhibiting companies.
Our team will be in Pavilion 6, Stand ZD07 to discuss upcoming campaigns, technical challenges and partnership opportunities across the region. We look forward to seeing you there.
