Wallace Facility Open Day: Demonstrating Competency, Capacity and Commitment to the UKCS

Published 23.07.2026

The Wallace Facility Open Day brought together Odfjell Technology’s UK team and a broad group of industry partners and clients for a focused presentation of the facility’s readiness to support upcoming activity across the UK Continental Shelf (UKCS). With over 50 companies represented and around 200 attendees across two days, the event provided a clear demonstration of the competency, capacity, and commitment to the UK that underpin Odfjell Technology’s service delivery in the region.

A Facility Built for Operational Readiness

The Wallace Facility has undergone significant preparation to ensure it meets the demands of current and future UKCS operations. The office and workshop areas were presented in full operational layout, demonstrating how the team manages visitor flow, equipment staging, product organisation and readiness for mobilisation.

The workshop showcased a structured and efficient environment, with product lines and tooling arranged to reflect real‑world deployment conditions. This setup reinforced the facility’s competency in well services, remedial and abandonment, projects and engineering, operations and partner‑integrated solutions, ensuring clients received a clear and accurate view of how Odfjell Technology prepares for safe and efficient execution.

Partner Collaboration Onsite

A core element of the Open Day was the presence of Odfjell Technology’s strategic partners, each contributing essential technologies and expertise to the UKCS offering. Representatives from Razor Oiltools, Kaseum Technology, Plowman Craven, Oilfield Service Professionals, Mactech Europe, JWS Gruppen, and Volant Products were onsite to present their portfolios and engage directly with clients and the UK team.

Many partners travelled from Norway, Canada, the United States and other regions to participate, demonstrating a strong commitment to supporting UK operations. Their involvement highlighted the integrated nature of Odfjell Technology’s service model and the capacity created through aligned tooling, engineering support and shared operational standards.

Investments in Capability and Service Quality

The Open Day also served to underline the investments made to strengthen Odfjell Technology’s position as a reliable and competitive service provider in the UKCS. These include:

  • Enhancements to workshop layout and tooling readiness
  • Improved product line organisation for faster mobilisation
  • Strengthened partner integration and onsite collaboration
  • Facility upgrades supporting increased activity and client engagement

These investments reflect the company’s focus on delivering consistent, high‑quality service and ensuring the UK team is equipped to meet client expectations across well intervention, remedial and abandonment, and partner‑supported operations. They also reinforce Odfjell Technology’s long‑term commitment to the UK, supporting sustainable growth and operational excellence in the region.

Delivering Value for Clients

With more than 50 companies engaged and around 200 attendees participating, the Open Day provided a strong platform for clients to see first‑hand how Odfjell Technology and its partners prepare for operational delivery. The event demonstrated the collective effort behind the Wallace Facility’s development — from the UK team’s preparation to the active involvement of partner companies — reinforcing Odfjell Technology’s competency, capacity, and commitment to the UKCS.
