In this role, youwill work closely with the VP Sustainability and colleagues across the businessto help ensure compliance with evolving sustainability regulations andcontribute to building internal competence and systems.

Job Description:

As a Sustainability Advisor, you will play a key role in supporting theVP Sustainability and the broader organisation in delivering high-quality ESGreporting and driving compliance with evolving sustainability regulations.While the main focus is reporting, the role also contributes to building ESGcompetence across the business and supporting strategy implementation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and support sustainability reporting activities, including ESG disclosures, EU Taxonomy alignment and preparations for CSRD reporting.
  • Contribute to the development and refinement of Odfjell Technology’s sustainability strategy, KPI’s and action plans in collaboration with internal functions.
  • Develop and manage tools and procedures for tracking environmental and social performance and continuously improve ESG data quality and collection routines.
  • Create and maintain internal dashboards and KPI visualisations to support decision-making and internal reporting needs.
  • Monitor and interpret emerging ESG regulations and standards, and support implementation across relevant functions.
  • Contribute to the preparation of the annual Sustainability Statement, ensuring alignment with internal and external requirements.
  • Coach, mentor, and collaborate with key functions and business areas to build and maintain consistent data flows, clear roles and responsibilities, contributing to building a strong sustainability culture.
  • Contribute to competence building and awareness across the organisation on ESG-related topics, including regularly requirements and best-practices.
  • Take initiative to improve the setup of ESG systems, templates and business processes, ensuring compliance and efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in sustainability, engineering, environmental sciences, business, or a related field.
  • 1–4 years of experience in ESG/sustainability reporting or similar analytical roles.
  • Familiarity with sustainability regulations and standards (GHG Protocol, CSRD, ESRS, etc.)
  • Experience working with ESG reporting presses and standards, including ESRS disclosures.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Office tools; experience with Power BI or other data visualisation and reporting tools is an advantage

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, able to work across teams and explain ESG topics clearly.
  • Comfortable interpreting legislation, frameworks, and technical content, and translating into practical actions.
  • A genuine interest in sustainability and a willingness to contribute beyond a fixed task list when needed.
